Aqualine Contractors, also known as Aqualine Trenchers, is a family owned and operated 3rd generation business, with more than 50 years’ experience. We are a vibrant and growing business that has built up a strong following (with many repeat customers) throughout the greater Hawkes Bay region, servicing the farming, horticultural, agricultural , viticultural, construction and residential/lifestyle block communities.
OUr INNOVATION

Founder R J Bishop brought the first pneumatic rubber-tyred tractor into the Hawkes Bay for use on horticultural and agricultural fields

In the 1970’s, the company took on the first laser-equipped field drainage trenching equipment, which proved to be hugely successful for installing plastic instead of clay piping

In the early 2000’s, we developed our own vibrating ploughing equipment, which enables us to minimise ground disturbance. Customers have been blown away by what this equipment can do!
